Utah is known for the "Greatest Snow on Earth!" With a mountain desert climate, our snow is light and fluffy and once you experience that champagne powder, you won't go anywhere else! Salt Lake City, also known as "Ski City" is home to a very easy international airport and there are 6 ski resorts withing 30-45 minutes from the airport. You can fly in the morning and be on the slopes for almost a full day of skiing or riding! Park City is home to two of those resorts, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. Cottonwood Canyon is home to 4 resorts. Little Cottonwood is home to Alta and Snowbird and Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Brighton and Solitude.
Up north towards Ogden, you will find Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.
Down towards Provo, you will encounter Sundance Resort.
