Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is a fun way to get out and enjoy the mountains.  Maybe you're not into skiing or snowboarding or just need a day off.  Come see us to rent snowshoes and there are some really nice trails located right at Silver Star.

Winter Fat Biking

Maybe you have seen the bikes with the big fat tires?  With the big tires and lower tire pressure, you can get tons of traction on the snow.  Most of the trails are where the ski resorts operate so they are not available but Round Valley, Glenwild and Prospector trails are accessible all winter.   Call us if you want to try it!  We have several bikes available for rent all winter.

Snow Cat Skiing

Resorts got you down?  Head out to Park City Powder Cats at 1000 Peaks Ranch.  Call for availability or book the entire cat out!  

Snowmobiling

Located at the Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway, just a short 20 minutes from Park City. We are the exclusive snowmobile permittee on the spectacular 40,000-acre Wasatch Mountain State Park as well as 100,000+ acres of adjacent Wasatch National Forest. Cross Country Skiing

If you need equipment, check out White Pine Touring located in the Hotel Park City.  The Park City Golf course turns into a ski track and actually goes all the way out to the McPolin Barn for more than 20 kilometers of track.

If you have your own equipment, Round Valley and Willow Creek trail systems are free and you can take your dog.

Scenic Drives

The fall is the best time for scenic drives but all summer long, you can drive.  Some of our favorites are Guardsman's Pass over to Midway, Mirror Lake Highway in the Uintas, and Provo Canyon over to Sundance. 

Park Silly Sunday Market

In the summer, Park Silly takes over lower Main Street on Sunday's from June through middle of September.  There are vendors, food trucks, beer garden and live music.  For more information check out http://www.parksillysundaymarket.com/

Every Wednesday in the summer at the Canyon's parking lot, the Farmer's Market takes over.
