We’re Lighting up as ski season is here!
Silver Star Ski & Sport opened in December of 2008 and our main focus was to support the new Silver Star Development as an amenity. We quickly have become the shop of choice for many residents and guests of Park City. With and emphasis on service, we specialize in rental and demo equipment for all of the mountain activities in the respective seasons. We carry a wide variety of apparel and accessories, and offer full service tuning and repair to make sure our equipment and your personal equipment are in top shape.
We absolutely love the activities that Silver Star Ski & Sport specializes in. Each staff member is an avid skier, snowboarder, cyclist, and most of us do everything! We are passionate about the outdoors and our sports and want to share that passion with you. We want you to experience why we all live here. It all starts with the equipment you choose. You will find many other places in town to get equipment, but you won't find the dedication we have to not only make sure you get the best equipment your ability and budget will allow, but to give you the best service and friendliest environment we can.

Originally settled as a mining town in late 1800's, Park City almost was a ghost town in the 1950's when the price of silver fell dramatically. The locals called "Parkites" had an idea for a ski resort and Treasure Mountain ski area opened in 1963. Treasure Mountain became Park City Ski Area and in 1981, Deer Valley Resort opened. After being center stage during the 2002 Winter Olympics, as the host town of the Sundance Film festival every January, and with the "Greatest snow on Earth!" Park City quickly has become a world class tourist destination.
Have you heard about the skiing in Park City? When October and November roll around, you will see the locals starting to get giddy about the winter around the corner...the more snow, the better!
Have you ever heard a local say they came for the winter but stayed because of the summers? The summers are short, but boy are they sweet! The sun rises around 5:45 and it stays light till well past 9! That's a lot of daylight to bike, hike, golf, fish or do whatever!
